Temple priest opens porridge centre for villagers and travellers in Asifabad

A porridge distribution centre was inaugurated at Indiranagar village in Rebbena mandal, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, sponsored by temple priest Devara Vinod. Rebbena Tahsildar Surya Prakash and SI Venkata Krishna praised the initiative, calling it a commendable effort to serve villagers and travellers during the summer months.

Temple priest opens porridge centre for villagers and travellers in  Asifabad

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A porridge distribution centre was inaugurated at a bus stop in Indiranagar village of Rebbena mandal on Saturday. The centre was sponsored by Devara Vinod, a priest of Sri Mahankali temple at Indiranagar. 

Rebbena Tahsildar Surya Prakash and SI Venkata Krishna, who formally inaugurated the centre, were all praise for the priest for setting up the centre to quench the thirst of passengers and villagers. 


They opined that it was a laudable effort to provide the drink to the needy for three months every summer. They felicitated Vinod for conducting social service activities for eight years, besides managing the temple.
