A major fire gutted Sri Ganga Bhavani Oil Mill in Sadasivapet, Sangareddy district, destroying oil, oil seeds and machinery worth around Rs 1 crore. The blaze, suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, was controlled after two hours.

Sangareddy: A huge amount of oil, oil seeds and valuable machinery were gutted in Sri Ganga Bhavani Oil Mill in Sadasivapet town on Wednesday night.
Fire broke out in the oil mill late in the night. The fire engulfed the entire mill before the locals alerted the owner and fire department. A fire tender was rushed to the spot and doused the fire after a couple of hours of effort.
However, the management of the mill announced that they suffered Rs one crore loss due to the fire accident. Short circuit reportedly resulted in the fire accident.
