Hyderabad: Auto driver murdered in Tallabkatta over petty issue

A 20-year-old auto-rickshaw driver was allegedly murdered by three unidentified persons in Tallabkatta, Hyderabad, over a petty issue. The victim succumbed to injuries in hospital. Police have registered a case and launched a search for the suspects.

Hyderabad: Auto driver murdered in Tallabkatta over petty issue

Hyderabad: Three unidentified persons allegedly murdered an auto rickshaw driver over a petty issue at Tallabkatta on Monday night.

According to the police, the victim, Mohd Abdul Khader (20), a resident of Shaheennagar, had come to Tallabkatta to attend the death-related ritual of his grandmother on Monday evening.


After visiting the graveyard along with his family members, Abdul Khader left the place to meet some people. In the night, his father received a call and was informed that he had suffered injuries and was rushed to a private hospital at Shahalibanda. Abdul Khader died while undergoing treatment later in the hospital.

The Bhavaninagar police, on a complaint, registered a case and formed special teams to identify and nab the suspects in the case. The body was shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem examination on Monday night by the police. On Tuesday, an autopsy was conducted, and the body was later handed over to the family members.
