Mohammad Reza Aref wrote on his X social media account in English, praising the positions of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez:
“We salute all those who bravely stand against aggression and committed crimes; especially the humane positions of Pedro Sánchez. The world must distinguish between the aggressor and the defender,” Aref wrote on X.
“According to the United Nations Charter, Iran wants nothing more than its legal rights and the defense of national security against state encroachment and terrorism,” the vice president added.
