Hyderabad: T Seshnarayan, former Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, has decided to contest for the post of President when the HCA elections are scheduled to be held later this year.
In a letter circulated to all the affiliated members of the HCA, Mr Seshnarayan said that he would be seeking the support, help and guidance of everyone in the HCA to work towards a bright and better future for cricket and cricketers.
“As Chairman of Fateh Maidan Club, I have been successful in transforming it into one of the best in the Twin Cities,” he said.
“I feel there has been an erosion of genuine rights of the stakeholders in the HCA in the recent past. Rank outsiders with hardly any experience have entered positions of power due to infighting in the HCA,” Mr Seshnarayan said.
“I will be contesting on the guiding principle of taking everyone together and giving space for constructive measures,” he said.
