The Sikh community in Telangana will celebrate the 327th Khalsa Panth Foundation Day (Vaisakhi) from April 13 to 15 with religious events, including Vishaal Deewan, Nagar Keertan and Amrit Paan ceremonies at Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet and Guru Gobind Singhji playgrounds.

Hyderabad: The 327th Khalsa Panth Foundation Day, also known as Khalsa Saajna Diwas (Vaisakhi), will be celebrated with religious fervour and grandeur by the Sikh community of Telangana from April 13 to 15.
Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet Prabhandak Committee, President, S Darshan Singh and Secretary, S Surender Singh, said that Vaisakhi falls on April 14 and a ‘Vishaal Deewan’ will be organised at Sri Guru Gobind Singhji Playgrounds, Ameerpet from 11 am to 4.30 pm. Bhai S Gurdev Singh (Australia ), Gyani Gagandeep Singhji, Patna Sahib, Bhai S Manpreet Singhji (Delhi), Bhai Veer Singh (Hyderabad) and others will recite shabad keertans.
During the congregation, the traditional Guru-ka-Langar prepared specially by the devotees will be served and at around 5.30 pm, a colourful ‘Nagar Keertan’ will be taken out from Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet and will pass through the main corridors of Greenlands, Begumpet, Punjagutta and back to Gurudwara in the evening.
Amrit Paan (Holy Baptism) to eligible Sikhs will be performed on April 13 at 10.30 am at Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet, Hyderabad and a night congregation will be held on April 15 between 8.30 pm and 1.30 am at Guru Gobind Singhji Sports Playgrounds, Ameerpet.
