A man from Nagole was allegedly blackmailed in a suspected honey-trap case in Vanasthalipuram after intimate videos were secretly recorded. The accused reportedly demanded Rs 25 lakh. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Hyderabad: In a suspected case of honey trap, a man was allegedly blackmailed using secretly recorded intimate videos in Vanasthalipuram.
According to police, the victim who is a resident of Nagole, works in the beauty industry. A woman who had taken training from him later invited him to her residence in Vanasthalipuram.
During the meeting, she reportedly behaved closely with him and recorded videos without his knowledge. Later, she allegedly threatened to release the videos and demanded Rs 25 lakh to delete them.
The victim approached the police, following which a case has been registered. Police are investigating the incident from a honey trap angle.
