The Veer Hanuman Jayanthi procession began from Ram Mandir in Gowliguda on Thursday, with several tributary processions joining along the 13-kilometre route. Around 3,000 police personnel were deployed to ensure security during the religious procession.

Hyderabad: The Veer Hanuman Jayanthi procession started in a colourful note from Ram Mandir Gowliguda around noon on Thursday.
Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, VC Sajjanar attended the Pooja ceremony at the Ram Mandir temple Gowliguda.
Another big procession from Karmanghat started around 10 am and will join the main procession at Andhra Bank.
Several tributary processions will join the main procession enroute the 13 kilometer procession route. In evening the procession will culminate in a public meeting at Tadbun Secunderabad.
Around 3000 policemen are drafted for the procession bandobast.
