A 28-year-old woman died by suicide in Balapur after her boyfriend allegedly refused to marry her despite a four-year relationship. Police said the woman was upset after he reportedly told her that his family would not accept their relationship.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old woman died by suicide after her boyfriend allegedly refused to marry her in Balapur.
According to police officials, Suvarna, a resident of Roshan Daula area in Balapur, had been in a relationship with Rakesh ( 28), from Hayathnagar, for the past four years. Both were employed in private jobs.
Recently, Suvarna reportedly brought up the topic of marriage. However, Rakesh is said to have told her that his family would not accept their relationship and that he intended to marry someone else.
Upset over this, Suvarna allegedly took the extreme step and died by suicide at her residence on Sunday.
On receiving information, the Balapur police reached the spot and took up investigation.
