Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GHSPCA) chief patron, animal activist and former MP Maneka Gandhi, launched a new GHSPCA animal ambulance and commenced a donation scheme here on Saturday.
Maneka, who was in the city, inspected the ongoing construction works of multi-speciality animal hospital and shelter at Begum Bazaar. She said the long-pending construction works would be completed soon. Jain Guru Parshwayash Marashab was also present.
On the occasion of Mahaveer Jayanti, the GHSPCA is setting up an awareness stall at Exhibition Ground, Nampally and Imperial Garden, Secunderabad. GHSPCA invited interested citizens to its awareness and donation drive.
The GHSPCA team – Mahip Jain, Dinesh Anchaliya, Surender Bhandari, D Joshi, Manoj Jain, Yogesh Gosar, Hiten Shah, Deepak Vijaywargi, Soudharm Bhandari, Siddhum Bhandari, Akshay Baldota, Harini Rao, Parth Shah, Taqi Ali, Sumeet Jain, Shubham Jain, Bhakti, Sonal, Aadya, Jasmat Patel, Ajay Surana, Ajay and Raguvir, among others also participated.
