In a post on his X account, Iran’s top diplomat republished the remarks of the Germany’s president, lauding German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier for his outspoken condemnation of human rights violations against the Iranian people as the United States and Israel continue their aggression against the country.
The international law is in decline in practice; a reality that stems from the West’s double standards towards Gaza, Ukraine, and also from the silence against US and Israeli aggression against Iran, he added.
Those who believe in the rule of law should not remain silent in the face of these violations and raise their voices, Araghchi underlined.
