“The group has completed all necessary preparations; its fighters are determined to continue the confrontation without limits as they have now become a powerful symbol of patriotism,” Qassem said in a statement on Wednesday, according to Al-Manar TV English website.
Sheikh Naim Qassem added, “Resistance supporters are the most honorable and noble; and they are displaced for the struggle, they have endured hardship and sacrificed their children with pride.
He added, “The Israeli-US aggression aims to strip Lebanon of its strength and control its policies and the future of its people, seeking to undermine its sovereignty and independence by inciting internal strife and legitimizing Israeli occupation.”
Qassem added, “We call for national unity against the Israeli-US enemy under one priority at this stage: halting the aggression to liberate the land and the people; all other issues can be discussed afterward.”
The Hezbollah leader further stressed that, “Iran has stood firm against the world’s fiercest and most brutal forces and, God willing, will prevail; know that any victory against the US and ‘Israel’ brings benefit to all.”
