Hyderabad: M Jeevan Reddy has been elected as Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, and Dr Anil Kumar as Treasurer in the elections held on Sunday.
Elections to the posts were held on Sunday, in which Anil Kumar, who said he sought votes based on his commitment and ability to serve the game, was elected.
“I am deeply humbled by the trust placed in me. I will continue to serve cricket to the best of my ability,” Anil Kumar said in a statement.
Anil Kumar polled 61 votes while his nearest rival, Harinarayana Rao, secured 59 votes.
The other contestants, Agam Rao, polled 26 votes, and Babu Rao Sagar polled six votes.
