The commander of the IRGC in the West Azarbaijan Province Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Rajabi told local Iranian media on Sunday that the people showed that they have remained loyal to the ideals and values of the Islamic Revoltion and will not be decived by the enemy’s push for separatism.
He said that the Iranian armed forces prevented any infiltration of the enemy’s mercenaries into the western and northwestern borders through their intelligence operations.
The local IRGC commander added that the ethnic and religious diversity is an opportunity for the country rather than a threat, adding that the Kurdish and Sunni Iranians are ready to sacrifice their lives for their homeland much to the enemy’s chargrin.
