Speaking to Al-Jazeera, an Iraqi security source said that the air defense system of the US Embassy in Baghdad was not operating during the drone attacks.
The source said that a part of the air defense deployed in the embassy was not working as a result of Iranian missile and drone attacks.
The source also said that the Americans were still working to relaunch the air defense there.
AP reported on Saturday morning that a missile hit the helipad of the embassy.
