Iran’s top diplomat Abbas Araghchi and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation late on Tuesday to discuss bilateral ties and the recent developments in the region as well as the dire consequences of security in the region following the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
Araghchi expounded on the heinous crimes committed by the US and Israeli regime against the Iranian people, emphasizing Iran’s firm determination to continue defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He called on the international community, especially the United Nations to explicitly condemn the US-Israeli aggression against Iran, adding that the US-Israeli aggression against Iran runs contrary to the fundamental principles of the international law and the UN Charter which can jeopardize the international peace and security.
Any indifference to the consecutive law-breaking acts of the United States and Israeli regime will cause insecurity in the entire region and the whole world, Iran’s top diplomat underlined.
