National IP Yatra-2026 concludes at SR University in Warangal

Warangal: The two-day ‘National IP Yatra 2026’ organised to create awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the digital age, concluded successfully at SR University in Warangal.

The programme was jointly organised by the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME), Hyderabad and SR University. The university Pro Vice-Chancellor V Mahesh inaugurated the Startup Exhibition on the second day on Tuesday.


Addressing the participants, he highlighted the growing importance of Intellectual Property Rights in protecting innovative ideas in the digital era. He encouraged students and young innovators to secure their inventions through patents, copyrights, and trademarks.

NI-MSME representatives Vijaykumar Makyam and Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy explained the importance of intellectual property in strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital era.

Intellectual Property Rights Facilitation Centre (IPFC) head at NI-MSME, V Swapna explained the objectives of the National IP Yatra and emphasised the need to create greater awareness about intellectual property among students, researchers and startups.

The programme was coordinated by Dean (Innovation and Startups) B Girirajan. Faculty coordinators included A Chakradhar, K Rajchander and R Pranesh Kumar. At the Startup Exhibition students and startup teams showcased their innovative ideas and projects. The exhibition attracted keen interest from students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and faculty members.
