Two drivers killed, support staff injured in Narketpally flyover accident

Two drivers lost their lives and a support staff member was critically injured in a road accident at the Nalgonda crossroads flyover in Narketpally. The mishap occurred when a private bus collided with a truck, leading to an argument between the drivers.

Two drivers killed, support staff injured in Narketpally flyover accident

Nalgonda: Two drivers were killed and a support staff member sustained grievous injuries when a truck rammed into a stationary vehicle at the Nalgonda crossroads flyover in Narketpally in the early hours of Tuesday.

The incident occurred when a private travel bus overtook a truck and, in the process, hit the vehicle. Immediately after the collision, the bus driver and the truck driver stopped their vehicles and entered into an argument.


Even as they were arguing, another truck rammed into the stationary truck, killing the drivers, Bangaraiah and Srinivas, on the spot. The bus cleaner along with another person sustained grievous injuries in the incident.

The police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the Government General Hospital, Nalgonda. Following the incident, traffic came to a standstill in the area for some time. However, the traffic police later cleared the congestion.
