Students organised a farewell programme for Class 10 students at Vidhya Bharathi High School in Thandur. Bellampalli Sub-Collector Manoj Kumar attended as chief guest and advised students to pursue education with discipline and ambition to achieve success in life.

Mancherial: Students bid a grand farewell to Class 10 students on the premises of Vidhya Bharathi High School, promoted by Vidhya Bharati Educational Institutions Society, in Thandur mandal centre on Sunday evening. Bellampalli Sub-Collector Manoj Kumar was the chief guest of the event.

Addressing the students leaving the school, Manoj said that education was the best tool to excel in life and to achieve goals. He asked them to shine in academics while having discipline and ambition. He recalled that he had set a goal of becoming an IAS officer while schooling at the same school and realized his dream by diligence and perseverance over a period time. He opined that it was a moment of pride to attend the programme at his alma matter as the chief guest.


Earlier, Class 10 students presented cultural programmes and skits enthralling audiences. The passing out students thanked the management of the school for providing quality education at affordable prices and extending encouragement in many ways. Vidhya Bharati Educational Institutions Society Correspondent Agama Rao, director of the school Sharath Kumar, Thandur MEO Srinivas and teachers were present.
