In a message, Pezeshkian addressed Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei following his election as the third leader of the Islamic Revolution by the Assembly of Experts.
The president described the appointment as a manifestation of the Islamic nation’s will to strengthen national unity, which stands as a solid fortress against enemy plots.
Pezeshkian noted that the achievements of the new leader’s martyred father in preserving the Islamic Establishment and elevating the Revolution have provided a strong foundation for Iran’s future.
He expressed confidence that despite the brutal aggression of the Zionist regime and criminal America, the nation’s resistance and the determination of its armed forces will pave the way for progress under the new leader’s wise leadership.
