A 45-year-old man from Medchal died of electrocution at Narsingi mandal headquarters in Medak district on Sunday after accidentally touching live electric wires while drying clothes on the roof of a house during a family function

Medak: A man who had come to his relative’s house to attend a function was electrocuted at Narsingi mandal headquarters on Sunday.
Shyamsundar Reddy (45), a resident of Medchal and a native of Bairavunibanda in Nalgonda district, had come to Narsingi to participate in a family function. While drying his clothes on the roof of the house, he came into contact with live electric wires and died on the spot. The incident left the family in shock.
Police registered a case. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Ramayampet for postmortem.
