Alireza Enayati appreciated Saudi Arabia’s commitment towards not letting its soil to be used against Iran.
Turning to the US-Israeli aggression against Iran, the ambassador stated that his country will continue to defend itself as long as necessary, emphasizing that Iran does not confront its neighbors, rather it will target the US bases and interests in these countries.
In spite of unflinching efforts of countries of the region to resolve problems through the diplomatic channels in Tehran-Washington ties, the United States was again betrayed the diplomacy in the middle of the nuclear talks between the two countries.
“We confirm that Iran has not had any role in attacking the US Embassy in Riyadh,” he underlined.
Saudi Arabia has ensured Tehran that it will not allow its soil to be used against Iran and Iran is thankful of stance taken by Saudi Arabia in this regard, the envoy stressed.
