A 38-year-old man died instantly when his car crashed into a farm well at Kommuthanda village in Khanapur mandal on Tuesday night. The victim, a resident of Narsapur, lost control of the vehicle at a curve while returning from Rangapet.

Car falls into farm well in Nirmal, fertiliser company manager dies

Nirmal: A 38-year-old man was killed on the spot after the car he was driving crashed into a farm well at Kommuthanda under Beernandi village in Khanapur mandal on Tuesday night.

Police said Bhukya Srinivas, a manager with a fertiliser manufacturing company and a native of Narsapur village in Kaddam mandal, died when the vehicle fell into a roadside well after he lost control of the car at a curve on the outskirts of the hamlet. He was returning to Narsapur from Rangapet on personal work when the mishap occurred.


Srinivas is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Based on a complaint lodged by a family member of Srinivas, a case has been registered and investigation is under way.
