He also assured BRS support to the residents and property owners whose properties will be affected by the Gandhi Sarovar project.
Residents wept in front of KTR and urged him to protect their dwellings from the project. They said they built their houses by taking loans and have been paying EMIs for several years.
They also said that they are paying property taxes promptly and living here for the past 15 years. Now, the Congress government has decided to demolish their dream houses in the name of Gandhi Sarovar project. They do not want this project and their houses should remain with them.
