Hyderabad: Five players from Telangana have been included in the Indian ball badminton team that will play in the Indo-Malaysia international series to be held in Malaysia from February 28 to March 4.
The selected Indian team had an intensive preparatory camp under the supervision of the Telangana Ball Badminton Association and guidance of Ball Badminton Federation of India at AS Rao Nagar here.
The players from Telangana who were named in the squad include Davarakonda Mahesh, Rasari Anil Kumar, and Gokaram Dinesh Kumar in the men’s section and Pogula Archana and Ealavath Maneesha in the women’s squad.
TBBA general secretary VV Ramana and joint secretary B Syam were among those who were present when the team was given a send-off on Friday for the Malaysia series.
