MCA President Ajinkya Naik highlighted that the centre aims to prepare individuals not only for success on the field but also for dignified careers beyond playing.

Hyderabad: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) inaugurated the MCA Knowledge Centre 2026 at the MCA Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy & Recreation Centre, BKC, marking a significant step towards strengthening cricket education and capacity building within the cricketing ecosystem.
MCA President Ajinkya Naik emphasised that the Knowledge Centre would be not just about shaping champions on the field, but about preparing individuals for a successful and dignified second innings beyond their playing careers.
“Through structured courses and expert mentorship, we aim to build a strong foundation for cricket professionals across disciplines,” he said.
The MCA Knowledge Centre 2026 will offer certified courses for coaches, physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, performance analysts, curators, umpires, scorers and other cricket support professionals.
“The initiative has been designed to empower former players and aspiring professionals with technical knowledge, practical exposure, and industry recognised certification, thereby creating sustainable career opportunities within cricket,” the MCA chief explained.
