The signing ceremony was convened during Iran-Iraq Science Week in Iran’s Ferdowsi University in Mashhad.
The cooperation documents were inked with the universities of Baghdad, Al-Mustansariyyah, Technology, Oil and Gas, Basra, Al-Ma’arif Al-Jameeh and Al-Mustaqbal.
Cooperation in the development of Persian and Arabic language education, political and regional studies, translation studies, conducting joint research projects, holding short-term training courses, seminars and specialized workshops, as well as examining study and research opportunities for joint scientific programs are among objectives of the agreements.
Hosted by Ferdowsi University, this scientific event aims to develop diplomatic interactions, academic relations, and cultural exchange.
Representatives of more than 60 universities and educational institutions are attending the event, which will wrap on Thursday.
