Hyderabad: K Chandrashekhar Rao, BRS president and former Chief Minister, extended greetings to the Muslim community on the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan. He conveyed wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters observing the sacred month marked by fasting, special prayers and devotion. He wished that the blessings of the Almighty be upon everyone and that the month bring prosperity and goodwill to all sections of society.
In his message, Chandrashekhar Rao said Ramzan strengthens the spirit of spirituality and reinforces faith and self-discipline among believers. Recalling Telangana’s composite culture, he pointed out that during Ramzan, the ethos of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb is reflected in Telangana, especially in Hyderabad, amid an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect. He wished that the holy month would further promote peace, harmony and brotherhood among people of all communities.
