Hyderabad: CV Anand won the men’s singles title in the 55 years and above category of the Hyderabad Open tennis tournament at Jubilee Hills International Centre here on Friday.

Anand defeated Neelkant Dambre, a very popular tennis player from Goa, 6-2, 6-3 in the final.


The win for Anand has come after a gap of close to four years.

For the winners, Pragya Rawat hit a splendid unbeaten 104.
