Sangareddy: Holding the State Election Commission responsible for the entire incident in Sangareddy municipality, Congress leader T Jagga Reddy alleged that election officials had enrolled nearly 300 fake votes in every ward during the previous BRS government.
When the Congress candidate attempted to prevent such voters from casting ballots in the 34th ward, Jagga Reddy claimed that Inspector Shiva Kumar pushed the candidate out of the polling booth by holding his collar, which prompted him to intervene.
He alleged that the Election Commission had failed to remove such fake voters despite repeated complaints. Reddy accused the Election Commission and district officials of being responsible for the entire episode.
He questioned the credibility of the Election Commission for directing officials to file cases, even though, according to him, it had failed to eliminate the alleged fake voters.
