Mancherial: Police drew flak for allegedly barring a BRS agent from entering polling stations in Luxettipet town on Wednesday.

It is learnt that police personnel on duty at polling stations numbers 10 and 11 prevented Srinivas Goud, an agent of the BRS, from entering the premises. The policemen reportedly stopped Srinivas and pushed him away while he was attempting to step inside the station, stating that he was wearing a party scarf.


Later, Srinivas Goud staged a sit in on the road, protesting against what he termed unwarranted behaviour by the police and seeking justice.

Meanwhile, a video clip of the incident went viral on social media platforms.
