Former inmates of an orphanage run by the Indian Red Cross Society-Mancherial unit were felicitated for donating blood to support victims of accidents, medical emergencies, pregnant women, and patients with Thalassemia and sickle cell disease.

Mancherial: Former inmates of an orphanage run by Indian Red Cross Society-Mancherial unit won laurels for donating blood for a cause. They were felicitated by representatives of IRCS-Mancherial for coming forward to donate blood here on Tuesday.
IRCS Mancherial district president K Bhaskar Reddy, in a statement, said that the former inmates donated the blood meant for victims of road accidents, patients of medical emergencies, pregnant women and patients of Thalassemia and sickle cell disease, following reports published in newspapers requesting for blood. He thanked the inmates for donating blood to the needy.
