Shiva wins carrom singles and doubles at inter-college meet

Shiva bagged a double by winning the carrom singles and doubles title with partner Kiran in the Yamuna Ranga Rao Trophy inter-college indoor sports meet in Hyderabad. Other events included chess, table tennis and arm wrestling competitions

Hyderabad: Shiva bagged a double, winning the carrom singles and doubles title (partnering Kiran) in the Yamuna Ranga Rao Trophy Inter-college indoor sports meet here on Monday.

Mr Sanjay K Thakur, Principal of IHM-Hyderabad, graced the event.

The results:

Carrom: Singles: 1. Shiva (IIHM), 2. Anurag Gauta (IHM).
Doubles: Kiran & Shiva Kumar (IIHM), 2. Anurag & Sajid (IHM).

Chess: 1. Vaishnavi (Regency College), 2. Pranith (CAI).

Table tennis: 1. Swastik Gupta (IHM), 2. Vivek Rao (IHM).

Arm wrestling: 1. Siddhant Mishra (IHM, Hyd), 2. Tenzin Samten (CAI).
