Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) has invited applications for the grant of provisional affiliation, including sanction of additional sections, if any, over and above the permanent sections, for the academic year 2026-27.
While submitting proposals for provisional affiliation and sanction of additional sections, if any, the managements of junior colleges have to submit the FDR, building and playground registered lease deed, fire safety certificate or fire NOC, sanitary certificate and structural soundness certificate that are in force for the period for which affiliation has been sought.
Applications can be submitted through the official websites https://acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in/ or https://tgbie.cgg.gov.in/ from February 12.
The TG BIE said it would announce a list of affiliated private junior colleges to the student and parent community before the beginning of the academic year 2026-27 and the announcement of the admission schedule, enabling parents and students to enquire and confirm whether the college has affiliation.
The colleges have been directed not to open new sections without prior sanction from the Board. “Any such deviation will be viewed seriously and will make them liable for disaffiliation besides imposition of penalty under the Telangana Education Act and the rules made under it,” the TG BIE added.
