Hyderabad’s Pranavi Chandra named South Zone captain for BCCI women’s T20 championship

Hyderabad’s Pranavi Chandra has been named captain of the South Zone team for the 2026-27 BCCI Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Championship. Another Hyderabad player, all-rounder Vanka Pooja, has also secured a place in the squad

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s Pranavi Chandra will lead the South Zone team in the BCCI Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Cricket Championship for the 2026-27 season.

Another Hyderabadi in the squad is all-rounder Vanka Pooja, who has delivered consistent performances in recent times.

South Zone team: Pranavi Chandra (captain), Shubha Satish (vice-captain), N Sree Charani, G Kamalini, D Hemalatha, Nikki Prasad, Henrietta Pereira, Vanka Pooja, Shreya Parab, Shabnam, Niya Nazeen, Shreyanka Patil, Monica Patel, Rangalakshmi and EC Kavisha.
