Harshini advances after Laxmi Siri retires in tennis semifinal

Parthsarathi Arun Mundhe of Maharashtra and Harshini Nagaraj of Karnataka advanced to the finals of the Sify AITA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Tournament in Bhimavaram on Friday, defeating Danica Nirmal Fernando and D Laxmi Siri, respectively

Hyderabad: Parthsarathi Arun Mundhe of Maharashtra defeated Danica Nirmal Fernando, also of Maharashtra, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, while Harshini Nagaraj of Karnataka beat D Laxmi Siri of Telangana, who retired with the score at 6-1, 2-1 in favour of the former, in the Sify AITA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Tournament at Cosmopolitan Club, Bhimavaram, on Friday.
