HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi has urged the Telangana government to enhance the monthly salaries of outsourcing employees working in various government departments, institutions, corporations and societies across the State, citing rising inflation and increasing living expenses.
In a representation to the government, he pointed out that the previous government had granted an enhancement of more than 30 per cent in their remuneration through G.O.Ms.No.60, dated June 11, 2021. “The cost of living had increased considerably since the last revision, making the existing salaries insufficient to meet basic family requirements,” said Asaduddin Owaisi.
He requested the government to consider a substantial enhancement in their monthly remuneration, keeping in view their financial difficulties and dedicated services. He also brought to the government’s notice that outsourcing employees in some government societies were not receiving their salaries on time.
Asaduddin Owaisi urged the government to issue necessary instructions to all departments, institutions, corporations and societies to ensure timely payment of monthly salaries without any delay.
