Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said in a message posted on his personal social media page that he was pleased to meet Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat and to hold constructive talks with his friend and counterpart, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
Araghchi said the two countries’ shared history and deep cultural ties provide a solid foundation for expanding cooperation.
He stressed that Iran’s neighbors are its priority.
