Zionists will be punished over attack on Iran embassy: Leader

Zionists will be punished over attack on Iran embassy: Leader

Addressing worshipers who attended the Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran Grate Moslla on Wednesday morning,  Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei termed the month of Ramadan a cloud of divine mercy rained on the Islamic Ummah in the past month.

Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.

Referring to religious gatherings held in the country during this holy month, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution also stressed preserving religion and spirituality in the country every time.

Evil nature of Western civilization openly revealed

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei spoke about the crimes of the Israeli regime against the people of Gaza during this month.

He went on to say that the evil nature of Western civilization was openly revealed in this year’s events.

Western governments have always supported the usurping Zionist regime for many years, the Leader noted.

The Zionist regime killed thirty thousand defenseless people in these six months, he said.

Zionist regime will be punished

The evil Zionist regime added another mistake to its mistakes by attacking the Iranian consulate in Syria, Ayatollah Khamenei also said, adding, “The consulate and embassy offices in any country are considered to be the territory of that country. When they attack our consulate, it means they have attacked our territory.”

“The Zionist regime made a mistake and must be punished and will be punished,” the Leader noted.
