Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a message congratulating Balendra Shah on his appointment as the new prime minister of Nepal, stated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran values the friendly and good relations with Nepal over the past six decades, which have always been based on mutual respect and common interests, and declares its readiness to expand comprehensive cooperation with Nepal in economic, trade, energy, tourism, agriculture, and educational fields.”
Pezeshkian wished success for the new prime minister of Nepal and progress and honor for the people of that country, emphasizing, “We hope that your Excellency’s valuable experiences in executive and political fields will play a key role in further strengthening these relations and opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.”
