Hyderabad: The familiar dry summer heat has returned and is expected to remain active in Hyderabad this week, according to the India Metereological Department (IMD), Hyderabad.
While daytime temperatures in Hyderabad and surrounding districts, will hover just below 40 degrees Celsius, several other districts are expected to see mercury levels ranging between 41 and 44 degrees.
The dry heat in Hyderabad is expected to get compounded due to lack of gusty winds, which were active all through the last week. The IMD, Hyderabad forecast also made it clear that there are no chances of thundershowers in any part of Telangana till next week.
“Dry weather is very likely to prevail over Telangana. Maximum temperatures are likely to gradually rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in the next three-days,” the forecast said.
