Adilabad: Boath MLA Anil Jadhav provided financial aid to farmers whose maize crop was burnt due to an electric short circuit at Nigini village in Boath mandal on Monday.
Anil offered immediate relief of Rs 25,000 to three farmers — Anitha, Gama Bai and Jadhav Savan Singh. He promised full support to maize growers on behalf of the government. He instructed revenue officials to probe the incident and submit a report at the earliest. He advised the farmers not to be disheartened by the loss.
Boath mandal Sarpanches Association president Swamy, former Boath Mandal Parishad President Tula Srinivas, BRS leaders Narayana Reddy, Sridhar Reddy, Ravi, Ravinder, Ambaji, Surender Yadav and others were present.
