Hyderabad: In a major operation against encroachment of government land, the Telangana government’s HYDRAA on Saturday reclaimed 861 acres of government land with a market value worth Rs 15,000 crore in Sangareddy district, officials said.
The operation to remove encroachments was conducted in Ameenpur by Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) along with revenue, municipal and police officials with heavy police presence, an official release said.
The officials demolished a six-story apartment, besides a swimming pool and a guest house.
