Punjagutta police have registered a case against singer Mangli following a complaint by an advocate alleging cheating of Rs 10 crore in a microfinance-related business. The complainant also claimed a threat to his life, and police have begun investigation.

Hyderabad: The Punjagutta police registered a case against singer Mangli for allegedly cheating an advocate of Rs 10 crore in a microfinance scheme business.
The advocate Subba Rao, alleged that Mangali cheated him of Rs.10 crore in a microfinance scheme-related fraud.
The advocate filed a complaint against Mangali, and three others with the police. He also claimed that he is having a threat to life from them.
The Punjagutta police registered a case under different Sections of BNS against Mangali and three others and investigating.
