Respect public verdict in Kyatanapally municipality: Gangula Kamalakar

Karimnagar: Senior BRS leader and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar wanted the state government to protect the democracy by honoring the public verdict in Kyatanapally municipality of Mancherial district.

Voters of Kyatanapally gave a clear verdict by electing ten BRS and four CPI councilors. Both the parties have decided to share the power in the municipality.

Despite pressures from the ruling party, councilors of both the parties have protected the democracy by following the public verdict by not deviating during the last 51 days.

So, the state government as well as the Minister G Vivek should also respect the public decision instead of creating troubles in the election of municipal chairman and vice-election election scheduled on Saturday.

It was the responsibility of the police and election commission to take steps to conduct elections in a peaceful manner. It was reluctant if the government tries to distribute the peaceful atmosphere by using power, he made these comments while speaking to reporters here on Saturday.

BRS leader Balka Suman wanted the police and government officials to work as public servants instead of the employees of companies owned by the Minister Vivek.

Both BRS and CPI councilors from Kyatanapally, who stayed in a private hotel here on Friday night, went to Kyatanapally on Saturday morning.
