Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy donated blood for Thalassemia patients at Arundhati Hospital in Dundigal and urged youth to donate regularly. He highlighted his social service initiatives, including free surgeries and the ‘Gift A Smile’ programme

Malkajgiri MLA donates blood for Thalassemia patients in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MLA, Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, donated blood at Arundhati Hospital in Dundigal to help patients with Thalassemia. He said he donated blood specially for Thalassemia patients and that he donates blood regularly, once every three months.

Marri Rajasekhar Reddy also said that if people, especially youth, donate blood by following doctors’ advice, they can help save many lives. He shared the message ‘Service to humanity is service to God’ and added that he started the hospital in his mother Arundhati’s name as part of his social service by taking up the ‘Gift A Smile’ initiative of BRS Working President KT Rama Rao.


He also said that more than 40,000 surgeries have been conducted there free of cost so far.
