Hyderabad:  The integrated Bhu Bharati portal will be launched in five mandals on a pilot basis from April 2, as part of efforts to streamline land-related services and address disputes. The new portal will integrate Land, Survey and Registration departments onto a single digital platform, enabling end-to-end services for farmers.

The pilot project will be implemented in Kusumanthi (Khammam), Ashwaraopeta (Bhadradri Kothagudem), Amangal (Ranga Reddy), Vatpally (Sangareddy) and Kosgi (Narayanpet).

Designed for direct citizen access, officials said the system will allow farmers to view land records, apply for surveys and track applications from home, eliminating the need to visit Mee Seva centres. Upon submitting an application, the survey fee will be auto-calculated, and requests will be routed digitally to licensed surveyors after payment of the stipulated fee.

The process is time-bound, with notices issued to adjacent landowners within two days and surveys completed within seven days using Rover-based technology. After verification by mandal revenue authorities, land parcels are assigned unique Land Parcel Map (LPM) numbers and Bhudhaar IDs, with survey maps uploaded to the portal.

Authorities said applicants will receive SMS alerts at every stage, ensuring transparency and real-time tracking. As part of the pilot project, attaching a survey map during agricultural land registration has been made mandatory in these mandals to reduce disputes.

The initiative will replace traditional survey methods with modern technology, aiming to improve accuracy and efficiency. Based on feedback from the pilot phase, the government is planning to refine and expand the system across the State.
