Hyderabad: In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly murdered his wife and young son in a drunken rage and critically injured his daughter at their home in Amangal, Ranga Reddy district, on Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as Banavath Ram Das Naik, reportedly attacked his family following a dispute at their residence in Puligoni Palli Thanda. His wife and son died on the spot following the brutal assault.
The couple’s daughter also suffered severe injuries and is reportedly in critical condition.
A police team led by ACP Janaki Reddy rushed to the scene on receiving the report and launched an investigation.
The suspect is believed to have been taken into custody. While preliminary investigations indicate the attack took place due to an ongoing family dispute.
