T. Teja Krishna and G. Sahiti secured the boys and girls under-18 titles in the seventh Mt Banyan Global School children’s chess tournament organised by Telangana Chess Academy, with several young players finishing among the top three in different age categories

Hyderabad: T. Teja Krishna and G. Sahiti won the boys and girls under-18 titles respectively in the seventh Mt Banyan Global School children’s chess tournament organised by Telangana Chess Academy here on Monday.

Final placings: Girls: Under-8: 1. Nainika Nandipati, 2. Adya Reddy, 3. N. Kaashvika.

Under-10: 1. B. Humpy, 2. Sharika Tunki, 3. Manchappagari Meshavi.

Under-12: 1. Sadhvi Swami, 2. Lakshmi Sri Nidhi, 3. P. Sanjana.

Under-14: 1. B. Shashirekha, 2. Sanvi Swami.

Under-18: 1. Gemanjyothi Sahiti.
