Peddapalli: Retired Chief Secretary Kaki Madhava Rao emphasized the need for those occupying the highest levels of power to remain mindful of their past and to dedicate themselves to serving society. They must come forward to serve the nation without forgetting their roots.
Former Singareni CMD N Balram was one of the select few high-ranking officials who, despite having reached the pinnacle of success, never lost sight of their humble origins and continued to render selfless service to society and the underprivileged, he lauded.
He praised Balram as an individual who rose from the lowest ranks to attain the highest position of Singareni CMD and elevated the organisation to even greater heights of excellence. Though Balram currently holds a prestigious position, he continues to extend a helping hand to those who, much like he did in his own youth, are currently struggling and striving to make their way in the world.
While many people look up to him (Madhava Rao) as a role model, it was Balram whom he personally regards as an inspiring figure, he said. Madhava Rao made these comments while participating as the Chief Guest at a civic felicitation and farewell ceremony organised in honor of Balram by the Singareni Employees & Citizens Forum, held at Suravaram Pratapareddy Auditorium, Basheerbagh press club, Hyderabad on Sunday.
Retired IIS officer JB Raju, retired IRTS officer Bharat Bhushan, retired IAS officer GD Aruna, former Minister Ravindra Naik, former MLC Ramulu Naik and others participated in the felicitation ceremony.
